How Scout uses the science

Scout does not pick tasks from a generic list. Every task generation runs a three-step pipeline that combines your profile with the evidence database.

Profile matching

Scout builds a profile of how you work: your patterns, obstacles, energy, and what has and has not worked before. 56 canonical patterns map your dimensions to the most relevant evidence principles.

Profile dimensions
Evidence retrieval

At task generation time, Scout queries the evidence database using your goal type, week number, mood, and profile patterns. The top 3 to 5 most relevant entries are selected and injected into the prompt.

Personalized output

The task, its explanation, and the Why sheet are generated using both the matched evidence and your profile. Attribution is logged so you can see the studies Scout considered for your task.

Not just backed by science.
Built from it.

Most apps cite a study or two in their marketing. Scout runs a retrieval pipeline at task generation time. The studies do not decorate the product. They drive it.
